Laikee!!!

Hello everyone! First of all, I will like to introduce myself here. My name is Loong Lai Kee, most of my friends will like to call me as Laikee. My hometown is in Ipoh and i am currently studying in University Tunku Abdul Rahman. I am a year 3 sem 2 student, so this is the last year for me to study in UTAR.

Among my hobbies belong movie, piano, music and sleep. In my leisure time I like watching movies. I like to watch all types of movies include action movie, comedy, animation and many others. I am interesting for music, lightly play on the piano when I am free. I also like to listen to songs to relax myself. My great hobby is sleeping. I always believe that sleeping is the most important thing so that we will be full of energy to run all our stuff in daily life.

In my university life, the activity that I always do is surfing the net. The website that I visited the most is www.friendster.com. In this website, I can keep up with all my friends, upload photos, share videos and blogging. Besides that, another website that I always visit is www.youtube.com. It is a fun, exciting and entertaining website. I can watch movies, upload, view and share video clips with all people around the world. I like to visit www.yahoo.com as well to check my mailbox often. I will read the email send by my friends and delete them after reading so that my mailbox will not be full.

www.thestar.com is one of the website that I visit everyday. This website carried information from all around the world. I am able to know what happening around us through this website as I didn’t buy newspaper everyday. Thestar.com well informed me with the latest upcoming movies which I concern the most. It also allows us to exchange ideas and opinions which lead to spread of knowledge. Another website that is important to me is www.wble.utar.edu.my. I need to access to this website frequently to know the latest announcement post by lecturers or to download the notes that I don’t have.

The internet activity that I always play is chatting through MSN. It is the most convenience way for me to keep in touch with all my friends from different places. Sometimes, I will be having discussion with my group members about assignments through MSN chatroom. Besides that, I always play with online game which is an online dance game. It is an interesting game where thousands of players can mingle with each other in a world of friends, fashion and dance.

Through internet, I can always search for the information that I needed. I like to search for the latest product of hand phones, cameras, laptops and others. I also always search for the information needed to do my assignment. Listening songs is one of my hobby. Therefore, whenever I am free I like to download new songs from the internet. I love to watch movies through internet too.

Internet really helps me a lot in my studies by provides a powerful resource for learning, as well as an efficient means of communication. It also brings a lot of entertainment to me. Therefore, we must make good use of internet for our benefits.

Hello everybody!My name is Kok Pooi Mun. I am accounting student from University Tunku Abdul Rahman, year3 sem1.My hobby is listening to song and watch movie. The five website that I visit the most are www.youtube.com, www.hotmail.com, www.gangqinpu.com, www.friendster.com, and www.wble.utar.edu.my. I can search any movie that I like in youtube as it provide variety of video. Sometimes, I will search some video such as dance, playing piano video and etc, which is posted by any other online user to enjoy their performance. I check my mail regularly to confirm whether it has important notice. I can keep in touch with my friend through mail or online chatting. Gangqinpu provides variety of piano sheet music pieces and music to user. I can search some lyric which I interested to learn and download some music. It provides wider range of music, not only prevailing music, but also some classical, romantic music and etc. Other than mail, I can keep in touch with friends through friendster also. It serves as good communication devices to enable us to keep in touch among our friends. We can share our lifestyle with friends through posted some newly photo and asking them some opinion. I will check whether it have any important announcement through intranet regularly. Sometimes download some amended notes or articles, which posted by the lecturer. I will check any information through intranet that I wish to know.

The five activities that I normally do on-line are chat with friends. It is convenient way for us to keep in touch. Check mail also one of the way for us to keep in touch. I will download some song that I interesting. Sometimes search come information, which I wish to know or gain knowledge through internet. I on-line transfer the house rental to owner from my maybank account on monthly basic as it save more time.

I feel internet is becoming integral part of our life and business in today environment. We can gain knowledge through internet, allow buy and sell or other transaction through internet and save our time. Internet provides a lot of advantages for us without time restricted and cost restricted. We can keep in touch with friend without having to pay for huge amount of phone bill. Therefore, internet is an important element to improve our lifestyle and we should fully utilize the advantages provided by the internet.

Hello everybody! My name is Chan Siew Yin, most of my friends call me Siew Yin. I am now studying at University Tunku Abdul Rahman, a year3 sem1 student, taking the course of Bachelor of Commerce ( Hons) Accounting. This year is my final year, therefore the subjects that I am studying now are tougher and heavier than previous semesters.

However, besides study, I will do some relaxation activities to relax myself. I always go shopping with friends when there are sales or promotions. I also like to watch movie with friends when there is new released movie or when we are free. Besides, I like to eat. This is because eat can make me feel happy and relax and that’s the reason why I look chubby. However, I will do exercises sometimes to relax myself and to keep my body healthy and fit.

Moreover, I like to surf net when I am free at home. The website that I visited the most is www.msn.com to check my hotmail everyday. Besides, I always visit www.yahoo.com and www.google.com to find and search the information that I need. I will also visit www.wble.utar.edu.my everyday to check the updating information from my lecturers. I also always visit www.friendster.com to get to know other friends.

The internet activities that I do are very common. I always chat with friends on the net every day. Besides, I always listen to the songs and download those songs from the net. I watch movie on the net as well. I will check my mails and search for the information from the net everyday too. Besides, I like to play on-line game at home as well.

Surfing internet is becoming part of my daily life activity. Therefore, without internet, my life will be boring and I believe that a lot of things cannot be done well. Internet plays an important role in daily life. Therefore, we should use it properly so that the functions of the Internet can be fully utilized and will not be misused in doing some illegal actions.

Hello everyone. My name is Lai Pui Shi. I am student of Commerce Accounting course at Tunku Abdul Rahman University. I like sleeping. I like to sleep whenever there is free time. However, my class schedule for this semester (year 3 semester 1) is a nightmare for me. This is because my classes are mostly morning classes and thus, I cannot sleep as much as I wish. However, there are no other choices for me except attending class…

I like to surf net. The most common website that I visited is YouTube. YouTube is a video and audio sharing website where all the users can upload, view and share video and audio clips. There is a lot of genre of movies that had been uploaded in YouTube, including educational video clips, entertainment video clips and etc.

I like to access to UTAR website as well. I will check for the new announcements or activities that happen in the campus recently. Besides, I check my exam timetables and exam results from this intranet as well. Another website that is important for me is UTAR WBLE (Web Based Learning Environment). I can download the lecture slides and tutorial questions from the website. Besides, students can discuss the problems that they facing in the forums provided in WBLE.

Another website that I visit frequently is Friendster. Friendster is an Internet social network service. I get to know friends not only from Malaysia, but all over the world, such as Singapore, Australia and etc. I like to access to Cari.com as well. It is a forum created for all Malaysians. All Malaysians all around the worlds can discuss the latest issues in the forum. Besides, they can discuss their love problems, school life problems and etc in the forum.

The most internet activity that I normally do is chatting through MSN messenger, or which is now known as Windows Live Messenger. It is a freeware instant messaging client which was developed and distributed by Microsoft. I can contact my friends that stay in different places anytime, anywhere. Besides, I can have video conversations with friends through Skype, a software program that allows me to make telephone calls over the Internet. However, it always disconnects due to the poor Streamyx services…

Whenever I am free, I will check my emails. Normally there are a lot of junk mails in my mailbox. I need to delete all the junk mails so that my email storage capacity will not be wasted by storing those junk mails. When I find that the email that I received is meaningful, I will forward to my friends so that they can share those meaningful email as well. Besides, I like to view the blog of others, especially my close friends. Although I may not always contact them, I can know their current life through their blogs.

During assignment period, the most internet activity that I usually do is to surf information from the internet. I can find all types of information from the internet. However, some of them may not be appropriate for me to use in my assignment. Therefore, I need to scan the information before include them in my assignment.

Lastly, I like to play online games. My most favorite game is Maple Story. It is a free-of-charge, 2D side-scrolling Online Role Playing Game developed by a South Korean company, Wizet. I like to play Maple Story because the characters and the monsters are cute and attractive. However, when the level of a character is getting higher, the monsters that the character will fight are getting more unattractive. Yet, it is still my favorite game.

Internet brings a lot of usefulness to our daily lives. We should make use of the functions of the Internet. However, we should carefully select the websites that we access. This is because some of the websites consist of virus and some distractive contents which will infect the operation of our computers.
